A 27-year-old female attended your practice due to recurrent epithelial corneal erosions. The visual acuity in both eyes is 6/15 (0.4 in decimal scale). The patient has no history of ocular trauma and is in good general health. Furthermore, the patient has noticed blurry vision over the last 5-7 years and frequently changes her glasses. She has also had several treatments for epithelial erosions, which were thought to be due to rubbing her eyes after working on a computer extensively. It's important to note that the patient has astigmatism, but her current glasses do not provide adequate vision.
