Alberto Domínguez Vicent

Allow us to introduce Alberto Domínguez Vincent, our esteemed speaker, a luminary in optometry and vision science. Having earned a BSc (Optics and Optometry) in 2010 and a PhD (Optometry and Vision Science) in 2016 from the University of Valencia (Spain), he honed his skills under eminent mentors, specialising in assessing lens quality. His doctoral research delved into accommodation mechanisms and lens efficacy. Since 2017, he has, among other topics, been doing research related to ophthalmic instrumentation at Karolinska Institutet, imparting knowledge in optometry and spearheading projects to enhance retinal and corneal image analysis and appraise ophthalmic tools.
