Doctor of Optometry at Krogh Optikk
Arjeta Beqiri is an experienced primary care optometrist who graduated from Salus University in 2002. She performs eye exams and diagnoses glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Besides her four years of store managing for Interoptik, Arjeta has also worked for Specsavers in Norway. Here, she was responsible for reviewing and approving referrals and was involved in the clinical teaching of optometrists. Arjeta helped design the current patient journal system employed in Specsavers’ stores in Norway.
She has formerly used her all-around skills to teach optometry classes at the University of South-Eastern Norway. She is passionate about helping anterior and posterior eye diseases and can advise optometrists on a case-to-case basis when it comes to the decision of giving a referral versus going for an office follow-up.
On the programme
Arjeta hosted one of the most popular sessions at last year’s Clinical Conference. Now, she is back with a masterclass on Wednesday 5 October. She’ll present three cases with multimodal imaging that helped her clinical decision-making. Her session includes OCT scans and fundus imaging. | Go to the programme
