Optometrist and owner of research & education consultancy the NetherLENS Eye-Contact-Lens
Eef van der Worp is an educator and researcher. He received his optometry degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands and served as the head of the contact lens department at that same school for more than eight years. Eef received his PhD in Optometry from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands, in 2008.
He currently runs the research & education consultancy NetherLENS Eye-Contact-Lens in Amsterdam, and gives courses on scleral lenses, speciality lenses, and industry investigations.
Eef is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Pacific University College of Optometry (Oregon, USA) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montreal University College of Optometry (Canada). He gives numerous lectures around the world and is a visiting professor at various renowned universities in the US and Europe.
