Karolin Hellerstedt

Karolin Hellerstedt graduated as an optometrist from Linneuniversitetet in 2007. In 2010, she opened her Specsavers store in Stenungsund with a friend. In 2017, she continued the business with her husband Stefan, who’s responsible for the retail side of the store. This brought the opportunity to develop the retail and clinical areas even more in the store. Thanks to that, they were recognised with the ‘Best Specsavers Store in Sweden’ award in 2021.

Karolin is passionate about constantly improving professionally: within her own business, in her clinical work as an optometrist, and within her team. She focuses on education on every level. Together with her team, they’re fast on implementing new equipment and ways of working.

Outside of work, Karolin meets many other business owners in Stenungsund to build her network and discuss local business opportunities. She’s also a board member of Företagarna Stenungsund & Tjörn, a local network for entrepreneurs.

On the programme
