Kristin Aabø

Kristin Aabø graduated as an optometrist from Høgskolen i Buskerud (HIBU) in Norway, 26 years ago. In 2001/2002, she did her Master’s in Optometry at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and in 2007, she did part of a master’s degree in Pediatric Optometry and Orthoptics at HIBU.

Kirstin spent her first years as an optometrist working in private practice, followed by 16 years at the eye department at the Sentralsykehuset in Vestfold. Here, she mainly worked with children from 0 to 8 years old and developmentally-disabled patients, as well as cases of strabismus, amblyopia, accommodative problems, AMD, and pre- and post-operative cataracts.

For two years now, she has worked as an optometrist at Specsavers in Tønsberg.
