PhD, Neuro-ophthalmologist and Strabologist
Sára Vetö is a neuro-ophthalmologist and strabologist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. She graduated from the Medical University of Pecs, Hungary, in 2005 and earned her Ph.D. there in 2010 for her research on demyelinating diseases and multiple sclerosis. Sára completed her ophthalmology training at the University of Pecs and later in Uddevalla, Sweden, where she passed the board exam in 2020. Her dedication to both neurology and ophthalmology has driven her to specialise in the field of neuro-ophthalmology, with a particular focus on optic nerve diseases.
