Mika has held roles as a consultant, analyst, speaker, trainer, and project manager. Recently, he led a pivotal study by NÄE Ry, assessing the benefits of expanding the role of optometrists in Finland’s eye health services. This study significantly influenced national health policy, promoting the expanded role of optometrists in maintaining the eye health of the Finnish population. Mika is eager to discuss the expected productivity and outcome improvements from the upcoming changes to the Finnish healthcare system within the eye care industry.
