How clinical support works in practice - three cases (in Swedish) | Karim Makdoumi

A clinical support tool is crucial to give patient-safe care. It helps optometrists identify patients who need a referral and who can be monitored in their practice. The Swedish Optometry Association has recommended that all optometry businesses establish a clinical support function to improve collaboration with eye clinics and enable shared care.

In this practical session, the usefulness and impact of such a tool will be exemplified by Dr Karim Makdoumi, one of the ophthalmologists who work with clinical support cases daily.
