A 35-year-old male goes to your practice complaining of central blurry vision in the right eye over the last couple of days. The recorded visual acuity is 0.5 (6/12) on the right eye and 1.0 (6/6) on the left eye, with no correction. The intraocular pressures are within normal limits. The patient has a skin condition for which he uses a skin cream. Otherwise, the patient is healthy. He works as a lawyer.
