A 34-year-old female attended your practice due to very watery and very red eyes. The patient noted some whitish/yellowish discharge and blurriness in vision, which she stated initially started in the right eye and, a few days later, also affected the other eye. Her visual acuity measures 6/10 (0.6) in the left eye (LE) and 6/12 (0.5) in the right eye. The patient is otherwise in good health. She recently had a visit from her sister and her 7-year-old son who was coughing.
