How to make a real difference for dry eye patients

Dry eye disease affects between 5 and 50% of the population, and many computer users, contact lens wearers and elderly are affected daily. Symptoms and general knowledge of dry eyes are not clear enough for mild symptoms, so people tend not to seek help, rather accepting the circumstances. Eye care professionals are our front-line people in the battle against dry eyes; they meet customers outside the artificial test room appointments and can help make a real difference for people who suffer. This Masterclass gives concrete tools on how to speak to, inform, understand and help dry eye patients outside the clinic, for example within sight test rooms and optometrist consultations.
